The MIT GCFP has announced that Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, was named the winner of the 2025 Miriam Pozen Prize in recognition of his leadership in international financial policy. (Click here to read the official press release.)

The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 12:00pm on the 6th floor of the MIT Samberg Conference Center, during which President Tharman will deliver the Miriam Pozen Lecture. There will be an informal reception prior to the event at 11:30am.

This hybrid event is free and open to the public and will be livestreamed. Registration is required to attend the event in person.
