Authors and tech experts Aram Sinnreich and Jesse Gilbert join ACLU's Kade Crockford to discuss their new book The Secret Life of Data which explores the promise and perils of AI and emerging technologies. The evening will include a book reading and presentation by the authors, followed by conversation with privacy and surveillance expert Kade Crockford regarding public policy solutions for protecting people from the harms of data tracking. Audience Q&A to be followed by book signing and reception with light refreshments.
