Children and older people are often the focus of research and policies related to climate change and health. However, previous research and public health endeavors have often examined these two groups in isolation, without fully considering the ways in which climate change is impacting the health of these groups from an intergenerational perspective. This talk will consider the importance of age in discussions regarding climate change and highlight the need to incorporate intergenerational approaches to climate-related health inequities.
