Now in its eighth year, MIT EnergyHack challenges students to come up with solutions to real-world challenges proposed by our energy industry sponsors.
Theme: Decarbonizing the Built Environment
When: Nov 11th - 13th
Where: On campus and remote
What: A 48-hour hackathon where you can meet top VCs and startups in the space (like Fifth Wall, Tangible Materials and Tynt), as well as orgs like McKinsey, Perkins & Will, MassCEC and MIT Center for Real Estate, and help them solve their toughest challenges. You’ll create real impact, learn from the best of the best, and winners get cash prizes.
Who can participate: students with an interest in sustainability, clean energy or the built environment! This is a multidisciplinary hackathon and we welcome everyone from undergrads to PhDs and mechanical engineers to urban planners. No preparation is required before the event.
