uantum group Uhg. Answering a question of Pavel\nEtingof\, we prove that t
he restriction of this action to the pure braid group\nextends to all (not
necessarily integrable) category O modules for Uhg.\nWe also show that this
action describes the monodromy of the Casimir\nconnection of g on category
