Join us for our July MIT TUG meeting!

  • Tableau Resources
    • One repeated thread we've seen in our MIT Tableau Slack space and in conversations is, "Where can I learn more about (doing X in) Tableau?"
    • The MIT TUG leads will share some of our favorite Tableau resources and why we're stans of those resources,
    • We want to hear about your favorites, too, so feel free to bring them to the meeting!
  • Tips & Tricks: Tooltips Cool Tricks with Laura Urciuoli
    • Last time, Laura shared how tooltips work. This time, she's going to take it up a notch with Viz in Tooltips--literally, visualizations IN your tooltips!
  • Chat with fellow MIT TUG members
    • Hear what others are working on
    • Share what you've learned recently
    • Talk about whatever strikes your fancy

If you require any accessibility accommodations, please email MIT TUG leads to make your accommodation request. Some accommodations require 2-3 weeks to arrange; every effort will be made to accommodate advance requests.

What is the MIT TUG?

We've started a Tableau User Group at MIT (MIT TUG) to build a Tableau community at MIT by providing a space where Tableau users at MIT can:

  • Meet other Tableau users
  • Showcase what we're working on and our user adoption efforts
  • Learn about and see applications of new (to us) features in Tableau (and related data products)

If you want to present at a future MIT TUG meeting:
