Do you know why pie charts are poor ways to represent quantitative data? why the human brain prefers visuals over text? how to keep your audience engaged and following your logic? In this workshop we will discuss methods for creating effective data visualizations and a narrative that your audience can follow. Evidence-based findings will help us determine what works and doesn’t work to make an effective presentation. All CAPD events are open to MIT undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and alumni.
