Expanding Research & Engagement on Air Pollution in India

Air pollution is a leading contributor to the disease burden in India. Over the last decade, the body of research on the science of air pollution as well as health effects associated with poor air quality has grown immensely. At the same time, public attention on the topic has grown and a variety of policy actions are being undertaken at national, state and local levels. This talk will provide an overview of the trajectory of the clean air discourse in India with a focus on science and public engagement on this topic.
