About this Event
Please join us for this special undergraduate lunch event (and help us share the word with your DUSP-curious friends)!
Urban Studies and Planning is vibrant and diverse field, encompassing a wide range of tools, problems, topics, and techniques; with the advent of the new 11-6 major in Urban and Computer Science, these choices have expanded even more...!
Between planning, design, development, law, policy, environmental science, spatial analytics, and big data, there are a lot of different ways to explore -- and improve -- our cities and communities; and between classes, majors, HASS concentrations, and UROPs, there are a lot of ways to engage with what's going in the department.
Of course, this variety can be exciting, but it can also be a bit overwhelming as you try to find your way through -- your own unique "pathway to planning."
To help you navigate, we've invited a few faculty members in the department to an informal lunch discussion to reflect on the routes they've taken through the field, the tricks and insights they've gained along the way, and their thoughts on future trends.
All undergraduates welcome, regardless of actual or potential major. Please come!
