Pi Day: In Living Color
Thursday, March 23, 2023
MIT Museum
314 Main Street, Gambrill Center, Cambridge MA 02142
Celebrate a belated Pi Day at 314 Main Street as we explore the intersection of math and art with Young People’s Project and Sisters in Stitches: Joined by the Cloth.
The museum is excited to collaborate with The Young People’s Project (YPP) and host an irrationally fun set of Pi Day activities in conjunction with the 3rd annual What’s The Big Idea Math Challenge: Pi Day Edition, all offered in memory and tribute to the late MathArtist John Sims.
Immerse yourself in a world of numbers, shapes, patterns and discussion as we explore the wonders of Pi. From hands-on activities and math games to lightning talks with mathematicians and quilting activities, there’s something for people of all ages!
