How might we elevate the design super powers of software engineers?

We are living in an age where software is critical for humans to live a full life - software is foundational to transaction with your finances, health care, education, etc. And yet much of the software humans interact with negatively impacts the human psyche on a daily basis. Often the development of software is fragmented. Product and marketing dictates the design. Software executes. 

Software engineers who are fluent in design methods and mindset have tremendous powers to manifest the best human experiences. Through two workshops we intend to teach and explore design methods that will empower software engineers to excel.
