Resumes with Military Experience

The federal resume, the academic CV, and the industry/civilian resume are very different creatures, and it is important to understand the difference in order to craft the right document for your specific career goals. 

Join the MIT Student Veterans Association on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 15:30 as we begin the first of our Professional Development Series in partnership with CAPD, with our first topic on creating Resumes with Military Experience. 

At this workshop, learn some best practices for creating an effective industry resume. Hear from veteran mentors with exceptional civilian careers as they describe how they showcase their military experience on paper. This workshop will be facilitated by Amanda Cornwall, Associate Director for Graduate Professional Development, and will feature military veterans and industry leaders Charlotte McWilliams and Teri Centner.
