The term book arts encompasses artwork inspired by the concept, form, and function of the book. It includes formats such as artist’ books, zines, and comics. MIT Libraries’ Distinctive Collections holds a growing collection of artists’ books and zines that align with the Institute’s core values and enhance its teaching and research mission.
