Illuminating the science behind an ongoing clinical trial, Professor Michael Yaffe and his clinical and biotech collaborators tell the story of how a synergistic drug combination discovered at the Koch Institute revived an all but forgotten drug class and shows great promise for combatting resistant tumors. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s David Einstein shares clinical perspectives from the trial, and Trovagene’s Mark Erlander talks about the Plk-1 inhibitor that proved crucial for the introduction of this combination into prostate cancer.
