Talk Title: Carving Circuits from Connectomics
Talk Abstract: In larval zebrafish, we measure whole-brain functional activity and connectivity in the same animal. Additionally, we integrate molecular cell-type information from complementary datasets. This emerging resource provides an unusually constrained setting for linking neural dynamics, connectivity, and behavior in a vertebrate brain. In this talk, I will discuss how we are using it to test and refine neural circuit models from sensation to action.
