Following our main Darwin Day event on TUE FEB/12 ( http://calendar.mit.edu/event/ssomit_darwin_day_2019 ), we invite you all to join us for an afternoon walk through the Alewife Brook Reservation, to enjoy the outdoors, and perhaps get a look at a few wintertime birds. Following the walk, those wishing to stay on are welcome to join us for coffee at Darwin's Ltd in Harvard Square.

WHERE: Alewife Brook Reservation (Alewife Brook Parkway, Cambridge, MA 02140), assemble at Alewife T station, Darwin's Ltd in Harvard Square after

Please try to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the walk by the fare gate of the Alewife T station -- a SSOMIT officer will be waiting with a group logo sign around which we will assemble and meet/greet. For your comfort and safety, please come dressed for the weather and the environment, including long-sleeved clothing and full-length trousers with above-ankle socks.
