 of political science at MIT and the faculty director of the MIT-Africa Pro
 gram at the Center for International Studies. Her work examines topics tha
 t span across authoritarian regimes\, bureaucracy and public administratio
 n\, and contentious politics.\n\n \n\nSpeakers:\n\nCameron Hudson is a sen
 ior fellow in the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and Internati
 onal Studies (CSIS). Prior to multiple other academic posts\, Cameron serv
 ed in the US government\, including as an intelligence analyst in the Afri
 ca Directorate at the Central Intelligence Agency. \n\nKholood Khair is th
 e founder and director of Confluence Advisory\, a 'think and do tank' form
 erly based in Khartoum that works on three priority policy areas: peace an
 d security\, economy\, and governance. She is currently at Yale University
  as a visiting fellow.\n\nAhmed Kodouda is a policy\, advocacy\, and commu
 nication specialist. He has an extensive background in conflict and post c
 onflict settings and experience working with and consulting for government
 al and NGOs around the world\, including in Sudan\, Afghanistan\, and Keny
