 list\, political scientist\, writer and radio host. She has been the politi
 cal editor\, editor-in-chief\, and CEO of The New Times\, a Moscow-based\, 
 Russian language independent political weekly. Albats was an Alfred Friendl
 y Press Fellow assigned to the Chicago Tribune\, a Nieman Fellow at Harvard
  University\, and also a senior fellow at Harvard's Davis Center for Russia
 n and Eurasian Studies. She is the author of multiple books. As of 2022\, s
 he resides in the US where she works as a chief editor of The New Times mag
 azine.\n\nOlga Onuch is a senior lecturer and associate professor in politi
 cs at the University of Manchester. Since 2017 she has been an affiliate of
 \, and previously in 2014 a fellow of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Instit
 ute. Her recent award-winning book\, The Zelensky Effect\, explores how ord
 inary citizens come to develop a sense of civic duty fostering a civic-cent
 ered state attachment as opposed to an ethnonational one.\n\nCo-Chairs:\n\n
 Carol Saivetz is a Senior Advisor in the MIT Security Studies Program. She 
 is the author and contributing co-editor of books and articles on Soviet an
 d now Russian foreign policy issues.\n\nElizabeth Wood is a Professor of Hi
 story at MIT. She is the author most recently of Roots of Russia's War in U
 kraine as well as articles on Vladimir Putin\, the political cult of WWII\,
  right-wing populism in Russia and Turkey\, and US-Russian Partnerships in
