This is an introduction to the Tableau Prep tool. This tool allows you to combine multiple data sources into one data source to be used by Tableau Prep. You also have the ability to prepare your data for use in Tableau Desktop.

Connect to different data sources Clean your data Create your output Connecting to your data in Tableau Desktop

In order to participate in the hands-on exercises, you will need a laptop with Tableau Prep installed. You can find the Tableau Prep on the MIT software grid: http://ist.mit.edu/tableau/desktop/administrative.

**This is an intermediate level class. Knowledge of data structures is helpful. Knowledge of Tableau Desktop is required to use the output data set.
