Dr. Larry Chao, Co-Founder of the Vita initiative for the Future of Work, shares a plain-spoken tour of how innovation and work is changing, with lessons from his own career to the trends we're seeing across industry. Sharing data points from today's job market and the evolution of work thanks to technology, the talk will explore innovation as the center of gravity shifts thanks to AI.

Dr. Larry Chao is an MIT alum (course 2) and co-founder of Vita, a non-profit initiative to help people navigate the new AI-shaped Future of Work, as well as the Founding Chief Strategy & Operations Officer at TrustMe.ai, an early stage startup working on AI security and governance. He has driven new technology adoption at enterprises like Intel and Ricoh and been an integral part of startups with exits to Intel (Kno, backed by a16z) and Softbank (Cinarra, backed by Cisco). He has been a lecturer at Stanford University and San Jose State University and an advisor at Berkeley Skydeck. Larry studied mechanical engineering at MIT for his BS and Stanford University for his graduate work where his PhD dissertation was on product development risk and governance working at organizations like NASA and GE.
