About this Event
Please join us Monday, May 15, 7:00-8:30, for the premiere of this year's Terrascope Radio production, an exploration of ways in which seemingly everyday places and activities--such as a cornfield, or the meeting place of two rivers, or the process of planting and tending crops--are imbued with sacredness in Diné (Navajo) tradition. Sound for this story was recorded in Navajo Nation on this year's Terrascope Field Experience.
The program will premiere in a live-to-tape Zoom event featuring WMBR host Valentina Chamorro, who will later play a recording of the event on her WMBR program "Lentil and Stone"; be among the first to hear it!
Email Michelle at mcontos1@mit.edu for the Zoom link if you're interested in attending.
