Bring your knitting, and crochet projects along to this informal skills and community building get together. We will have the 8-shaft floor loom warped up for you to experiment and two manual knitting machines to play with as well as lots of yarn, some patterns, needles and hooks and few lap looms. Share skills, make friends and revel in transforming yarn and thread into fabric. 

This is open to anyone at MIT who already knows some handcraft and wants to learn and share. While you do not need to attend every afternoon, it may not be possible to try every machine in just one day so please sign up for at least two.
