As a continuation of our Centering Palestine Speaker Series, Palestine@MIT and C4P would love to invite you to a conversation with Ali Abunimah, a Palestinian-American journalist, author, and co-founder of The Electronic Intifada. The conversation, titled “The Battle for Justice in Palestine,” will be moderated by Dr. Nasir Almasri (MIT PhD ’24) and aims to create space for thoughtful discussion on the ongoing situation in Palestine and the broader questions it raises.

After more than two years of ongoing genocide in Palestine, this event offers an urgent opportunity to examine the realities on the ground, including the near-daily bombing of Gaza, mass civilian casualties, and the expansion of Israeli colonies in the West Bank. Through a conversation with Mr. Abunimah, we will explore how narratives about Palestine are shaped, the role of international actors, and the normalization of systemic violence and territorial expansion. We hope this discussion, through critical analysis and dialogue, will highlight pathways toward genuine justice, liberation, accountability, and lasting peace in Palestine and the entire region.
