The Caterpillar Lab will be returning again to MIT!  They will be on the Vest Student Street on the first floor of MIT’s Stata Center from 11:30AM until 4:00PM this FRIDAY, September 13th.

The Caterpillar Lab is an unique New England based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to showcasing the amazing diversity of Northeastern caterpillars and interactions with their environments through educational programs, art, and science.

The Caterpillar Lab visit to MIT will include plenty of live caterpillars from the roadsides, woodlands, and empty lots of New England, as well as always-changing live demonstrations of metamorphosis, mimicry, parasitism, mutualism, and more under the microscope, led by TCL Director Sam Jaffe.

The exhibit is sponsored by MIT’s ESG (Experimental Study Group) and is free, open to the MIT community and the public. Stop by for a few minutes or as long as you like.
