The Caterpillar Lab @ MIT

Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00am to 3:00pm

Stata Center outside of 32-124, 32-124 Building 32

the Caterpillar Lab is an unique New England based, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to showcasing the amazing diversity of Northeastern caterpillars and interactions with their environments through educational programs, art, and science. The Caterpillar Lab visit to MIT will include plenty of live caterpillars from the roadsides, woodlands, and empty lots of New England, as well as always-changing live demonstrations of metamorphosis, mimicry, parasitism, mutualism, and more under the microscope, led by TCL Director Sam Jaffe (incidentally, my son).

The exhibit is free, open to the MIT community and the public. Stop by for a few minutes or as long as you like.
