Ceramic Pitchers
Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 7:00pm
SAA Ceramics Studio (W20-431)
In this four-week long intermediate and advanced level clay class, we will learn several pitcher forms. With an emphasis on handles and spouts, we will learn composition as well as the functionality of one of mankind’s earliest functional forms. With time permitting, several surface decorating techniques will also be introduced before bisque firing.
Tuition for ceramics classes includes a materials fee that helps cover the cost of clay, glazes, and firing.
*Basic community clay tools are available for use but if you would like to purchase your own, tool kits are available at Artist and Craftsman and Blick Art in Central Square.
Day/Time: 4 Thursdays starting January 6, 7:00-9:30pm
Location: SAA Ceramics Studio (W20-431)
Instructor: Darrell Finnegan
