About this Event
The Student Veterans Association is hosting a movie night on Veterans Day as part of an effort to thank those who have served in armed conflicts and to help our wounded warriors. Join us to watch Red Tails, a story about the WWII Tuskegee Airmen based on true events. We will meet on Zoom at 6 pm EST and start the movie shortly afterwards. We are not streaming the movie out to everyone so those watching will have to do so on their own device through Youtube, free of charge. Rather than charge attendees to watch the movie, we will encourage everyone to donate a few dollars to the Semper Fi Fund, who have generously committed to match each donation.
Please donate at semperfifund.org/match/ and send a screenshot confirming the amount to danpoe@mit.edu so that we can tally the totals. We thank you in advance - since each donation will be matched dollar for dollar, we have the potential to truly impact the lives of some veterans.
