 - The Whizkey Seminar is very informal. (Relevant) interruptions and side-tracking for better understanding, clarification, and questions are welcome and even encouraged.

 - There is no “official” theme for the talks, however, there is one (flexible) requirement: get out of your comfort zone! Have you been meaning to delve into a review article or a series of papers that aren’t directly relevant to your work but you found fascinating? Have you learned or want to learn a cool applied math method? These are good examples of subjects for Whizkey Seminars. The point here is to learn, understand, and be curious in an active way, and also go out of your comfort zone a bit to learn something new which might not be immediately useful.
