Virtual Event

This semester, the Women's League is proud to be continuing our partnership with WISDM, the Women in Innovation and STEM Database at MIT and the MIT Innovation Initiative to continue our popular speaker series.

Hear about Sadie's research at the Brain and Cognitive Sciences and McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT.

About Sadie Zacharek:

Sadie is a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in Dr. John Gabrieli's lab in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT. She is interested in the neuroscience of developmental neuropsychiatric diseases, and she hopes to extend the clinical utility of functional neuroimaging in her research career. Specifically, she hopes to optimize neuroimaging methods to be used as tools for diagnosis, characterizing disease, and leveraging preventative and personalized treatment. Sadie is also a supporter of open, replicable, and reproducible science.

The Women in Innovation and STEM Database at MIT (WISDM) promotes the visibility of women in our academic community, increases gender diversity in innovation and entrepreneurship, and makes it easier to find talented and diverse speakers for various events. WISDM supports women and gender non-conforming MIT community members and upholds the Institute’s efforts to foster community, equity, and inclusion.
