DESCRIPTION:The SubMIT analysis facility is for anyone in the Physics Depar
 tment and is a set of servers that provide interactive access to substanti
 al storage at high speeds\, enabling sophisticated data analyses with very
  fast turnaround times. Additionally\, it seamlessly integrates massive pr
 ocessing resources for large-scale tasks by connecting to a set of powerfu
 l batch processing systems.\n\nThis one day workshop will provide an overv
 iew and updates on the status and plans for the system and project\, as we
 ll as topical presentations on a range of use cases.\n\nAdditionally\, the
 re will be tutorial sessions.  Bring your laptop to run the examples in re
 al-time or just sit back and listen to the accompanying instructional talk
