Ashdown is the oldest and newest graduate dorm on campus! From the end of the Great Depression to the information age, Ashdown (Graduate) House has a long history as a home for MIT graduate students, and many stories to tell. As the second graduate dorm established in the United States, Ashdown House was a pioneer in graduate student housing, interactions and culture.
